Inspirational Post by Jules

So hi guys it's me again

Boy does the 29th of the month come around really quickly, I hope you are all enjoying the inspirational posts each two days from all the amazing designers I'm so lucky to be part of.

So this card I'm absolutely in love with, I must say it's probably one of my most favourites even though it's quiet  a simple card with not a lot of embellishments. This card was order by one of my hubby's work collegue's who's ordered a specialised card before, it was to be for a friends 50th birthday. She specifically asked that 50 and the ladies name be placed onto the card so that's what I've done.
The papers I've used are one of newly released papers last month

Mixed Media 2

I'm just loving using all these new amazing papers that Donna has been creating and can't wait to use them over and over again.

To view more photo's of my card please head on over to my blog where you'll be able to see them and also a description of the products and image I've used in this design.

Happy crafting everyone and make sure you stay tuned every two days for all the other posts and also head on over at the beginning of each month for our new challenges.

Inspiration Card

Good morning all, my turn to show you an inspiration card today, (glad it was today and not beginning of month, as made for friends birthday) :)
I have used a Mo Manning image, along with the gorge BearlyMine papers,

I have to say, I am totally loving the new stripes :)  I have coloured the image with copics and didn't go overboard with embellies (as I normally do lol), as Lynn prefers a less cluttered look.  Below are the papers I have used .

Do not forget that the sale is still on for a few more days yet, pop over to the Shop and grab some bargains whilst you can.

Have a fabby weekend all.  hugs Jackie

Tracey's Inspiration

Hi there Everyone
My turn again to give your mojo a little boost!
Today i have for you a card i have made for my son's girlfriend.
I have used one of the Retired sets "Spring & Summer Stripes"
which Donna has released again for a short while.
Now is the time to grab some of those sets which have
you might have missed out on.

Now a tip to get your papers looking like those expensive
textured papers...just use a bit of stickles to certain parts on your
papers and you will be surprised with the results.
I love to add them to the striped paper, it gives
you an awesome result.

All of the Digi sets used by the DT can be found in Bearly Mine Designs Shop

Inspirational post by Natascha

Hello!
Natascha here :)
Today is my turn to show you a new inspiration. I made a card for an amazing and very special friend of me. This image is from Whiff of Joy and I colored it with water coloring pencils and matching colors from the printed papers.
The paper flowers are an older freebie from Bearly Mine Designs and they go great with the papers. I have cut them with my scissors and cut very deep between the petals and embossed them from the back side to get them more volumen.

And here my card for you:

Some more pics:

I have used this two Sets by Bearly Mine Designs
as well as an older Freebie you can still download:

Bearly Mine Designs - Design Team Call May 2014

We have had a number of Design Team members leave and thought we need 3-4 more Design Team members.

We are a friendly bunch and talk via a closed Blogger Admin Blog and a Facebook page. It is not a requirement to be part of the Design Team to be on Facebook but if you want a speedy reply to a question or like a daily natter that’s the place to be!!!

What are the commitments for the Design Team?
  • Bearly Mine Designs has a monthly challenge so you need to make a card/creation for that using Bearly Mine Designs digital papers. The challenge starts on the 1st of the month. Your card/creation needs to be posted onto the closed Admin Blog at least 2-3 days before the start of the challenge so that the Design Team Leader can get the challenge post ready.  Your card/creation needs to go "live" on your own blog on 1st of the month
  • There is also a rota so that every two days an inspiration card goes on the blog and you will be required to make a card for that. For this card you can make whatever you want as long as you use Bearly Mine digital papers. You will be required to do your own post and schedule it to go “live” on the Bearly Mine Design Challenge Blog on your day each month along with it going "live" on your own blog on the same day
  • This means that you are required to make two cards per month as part of the Design Team
  • In respect of the Challenge Blog there is a rota for comments. You will be allocated two numbers and you will need to comment on all cards/creations with those numbers. Commenting is a very important part of the Design Team as it gives everyone that enters a boost to see that their card/creation has been looked at
  • Random.org picks the main winner of the challenge but the Design Team pick their Top 3. You will need to put your Top 3 into the Admin Blog in a timely fashion so that the results can be counted and entered into the post going “live” for the next challenge on the 1st of the month
  • If there are any Bearly Mine Designs new sets to be released/ sales/special offers you will need to promote these on your blog and Facebook page (if you have one).

What will you get in return for being part of the Bearly Mine Design Team?
  • You will get to work with some stunning papers designed by Donna at Bearly Mine Designs
  • You will get to pick 4 sets initially to use and you can pick these from the Bearly Mine Designs Shop and just let us know which ones you want. We do this as everyone has different styles of cards/creations so we leave it to you to decide which papers would work best for you/what you would get most use out of
  • Whilst you are on the Design Team you will automatically receive any new digital paper sets that come out from Bearly Mine Designs
  • You will be part of a wonderful and friendly Design Team that is here for each other.
After reading the above would you like be a new member of the Bearly Mine Designs Design Team?

If the answer is “YES” please link one of your favourite cards/creations to the Inlinkz below and do a post on your blog about the Design Team Call explaining why you would like to join the Design Team.

It is important that we have an e-mail address to contact you.  If this is not in plain sight on your blog please e-mail me with an e-mail address.

The Design Team call will be open for two weeks from Saturday 10 May 2014 and ending on Friday 23 May 2014.

All being well we will be in contact with those that apply from Monday 26 May 2014 onwards.

We would not expect new Design Team members to make a card/creation for the challenge on 1 June 2014 but if you wanted to you could.

An Inspiration Post would be appreciated in June 2014 and some existing Design Team Members could swap dates to facilitate this.

We are a very friendly bunch of crafters!!!

If you have any questions before applying please contact me at this e-mail address.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Kym, Bearly Mine Designs Team Leader

Inspirational Post by Kym - May 2014

Hello it is Kym here and today it is my turn to show you an inspirational project for the Bearly Mine Inspiration and Challenge Blog.

I decided to make a decorated MDF heart which I have painted with Gesso and then a layer of blue acrylic paint.

I have then torn up pieces of blue papers from the Bearly Mine Mixed MediaPlain and SimpleSimply Stripes and Steampunk Fantasy 2.  I have kept the pieces ragged rather than use scissors.  I then watered down some PVA glue and coated the heart with a layer and then added pieces of the torn paper all over the heart making sure I mixed around the scraps of paper.  The heart was then thoroughly coated with the glue to make sure all the pieces stuck and then left for a few days to thoroughly dry.
The image I have used is called "Mermaid Marci" and is from La-La Land Crafts.  I have coloured the image in with my Graph'it pens and cut around the image.

The decorated wall hanging has been finished off with various die-cuts that have been highlighted with my Graph'it white pen, some raffia ribbon (painted with white Gesso), cheesecloth, shells, charms, lots of beads and some grosgrain ribbon.

I hope you have enjoyed my little inspirational post.

Keep popping back to see more inspiration from the Bearlymine Girls.
