About Marianne Design

Marianne Design is a Dutch owned craft manufacturer and wholesale supplier to craft retailers around the world. The company was established in 1994 by Marianne Perlot and is based in the Netherlands. For years now, we develop all our products with much care and quality. We have a practical understanding of the needs of crafters, we integrate product development, design and customer service to bring fresh ideas and beautiful products to the craft industry. All to enable the consumer to make beautiful cards, scrapbooks and other projects and enjoy this wonderful hobby. Our products are available in 18 countries around the world. We produce a wide range of products which represent a complete concept of paper crafts. There are different lines of stamps and dies with matching papers and materials to decorate your card or scrap. Products are chosen carefully for mixing and matching and stimulating creativity.

The history of Marianne Design

Marianne was trained as a craft teacher and in 1989 she started writing creative books. Her first book was of making ornamental dolls of fabric and threads. This was a big hit and she sold over 1 million craft books in the years that followed. At first she started to make books and products for other companies, but she wanted to do more and started developing her own products. In 1994 she founded Marianne Design B.V. and started developing new crafts and adequate products to go along with it for the Dutch market. To this day she still coaches authors who write crafts books. Marianne: “It is fantastic to see how creative people are and how crafts can excite them!”.

In recent years Marianne Design has grown to a mature production company which is still on top and in demand. The company has concentrated on supplying customers and consumers with the highest level of products and inspiration. For this Marianne still leads the company herself and she has surrounded herself with a passionate and experienced team. Marianne Design is a much loved brand. Since 2010 Marianne Design started to develop cutting- and embossing stencils to use in different machines. This turned out to be extremely successful and the Marianne Design Creatables dies have reached a cult status in the craft world. The products of Marianne Design are becoming more known and have started settling in other countries beside the Netherlands. The company continues to make beautiful designs and products, there are many ideas and inspiration for the future.
