Inspirational Post by Collette

Bearly Mine Designs' October Inspiration
Today is my turn to give you a little bit of inspiration

HAPPY HAUNTINGS!

This card's background  features the designer paper from the Halloween Fantasy and Mini Dots paper packs that you can get at the Bearly Mine Designs Store.

The image is a digital image and was colored with Copics.  I added a border punched fence that I layered a strip of the pumpkin colored mini-dot paper before adding a black grosgrain ribbon.  Cardstock used were from SU in green galore and basic black.  The cat is from Sizzix and was punched from black paper, as was the fence border.

For more information on this card, please check out my blog at Heavensent For You

We hope to see you participate in our October Challenge, the theme of which is HALLOWEEN.  Donna has 2 specific paper packs geared just for this holiday, so be sure to check out the store.

I hope you've enjoyed my little inspirational post.
Keep popping back to see more inspiration from the Bearly Mine Girls !
Take care and have a WONDERFUL day!

Jacquis Inspiration 3rd October Project 2

ITS HALLOWEEN!!!

Of the ghosts, ghouls & spectres beware cause Halloween is in the air!!!

I loved this project lol Halloween is becoming a big tradition over here (Northern Ireland) and my youngest child Sarah-Jade is very into it and each year she gets better and better at it. Also my only grandchild Tj was born on Halloween night last year so we now have double cause for celebration.

Donna's got some AWESOME new Halloween Fantasy papers out I was in my element with this project which I hope you like.

For this card I used the Halloween Fantasy Papers
Black card
A Lavinia topper (not just for pretty cards)
Spellbinder Fairy Die
Wooden Letters
Gold metal flowers
Black ceramic flowers
A black cat
And a bucket (for collecting her candy of course)lol

I hope you like it and go check out the papers cos they're perfect!

Till next time Jacqui over and out.

Jacqui' Inspiration 3rd October

I made a man's card again woo hoo i'm on a roll lol

Hi there Guys, Gals & fb pals It's my turn to inspire you today so i've made a man's card (as you can see by the pic & my little celebration statement) lol.  This is actually the 2nd male card i've made recently and as I don't do men's card (like quite a few of you i'm told) so  i'm pretty chuffed with myself lol. Anyway for this card I used the Black & White Essentials Collection from the Must Have Basic Digi Sets.  I used 3 of the papers and the frame also comes in the collection & i've used it too.  I used 1 paper for the back ground then cut 2 others in strips & I matted all of them with black.  I cut out my frame added the motorbike a Tonic die sentiment & a few cogs & although you can't see it here I actually added a little glitter to the frame & cogs centres.  So I hope I really have inspired you and look forward to seeing your creations in our challenge.

Right onto information about the challenge.

The Bearly Mine Designs challenge for October 2014 is “Halloween”. We don’t go into Halloween so much here in the UK but it’s nice to have a topic for a challenge that is celebrated elsewhere in the world.
If you are stuck for some Halloween papers, Bearly Mine Designs recently released a set called "Halloween Fantasy".  This is a fantastic set of papers as you have the traditional Halloween colours of orange and black but you also have green, purple, blue and red so you can make very different Halloween cards/creations.
There is another Halloween set in the shop and personally it is still one of my all time favourites.  It is called “Halloween Hauntings”. What I personally like about this set is that there are Halloween inspired papers but there are also papers in the set that could be used throughout the year which makes it so much more cost effective.

Here is some inspiration from the Design Team. They have created some wonderful cards/creations for you to see.
